We Are Water, London, in collaboration with performance artist Will Dickie. (2012–2014)
This body of work examines the intersection between urban architecture and water's fluidity. Water is an enigmatic and vital element, born from stars, linking us to the history of the cosmos, and present in all life processes. Its nature is marked by the unexpected, the surprising, and the familiar-strange. Its creative influence is boundless, weavings connections between ourselves and the universe.
Our cities are characterised by solid materials and geometric structures that shape our daily experience. When water escapes its container, it resists control and measurement. Unleashed into the urban environment, it engages in a captivating choreography with our everyday spaces, establishing an unexpected and creative dialogue between the elemental and the built environment.
