Traces on the Landscape - Andros

Four artists come together in a shared exploration of questions inscribed in the landscape of Andros—through its nature, traditional architecture, and the lived experience of its people.

For the Residency Diego Ferrari’s photographs and installations articulate new modes of ecological awareness through embodied experiences. In this exhibition one body of work explores how air—though invisible—shapes movement, creates resistance, and guides action, offering a metaphor for the push toward a plastic-free environment. A second series, using lenses crafted from plastic bottles collected on Andros’ beaches, captures a landscape whose beauty is entwined with the presence of plastic waste, highlighting the convergence of nature and human impact.
